The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from L. P. Cusack. trainer of The Dabbler, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Kevin A Murphy, rider of Well Del, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Kevin A. Murphy was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Kevin A Murphy for five racedays.
P.K. Donovan, rider of Ballagh Star, trained by Mrs. Y. Dunleavy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle todays going.
343C WTW Willis 3-Y-O M'dn H'dleThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from Mark Michael McNiff, Trainer of Houndsworth, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90
343D The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Academy H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after jumping the third last hurdle involving Circle Of Secrets (FR), ridden by D. Meyler, placed fourth, and Code Name Cubitt, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, placed sixth, where it appeared Circle Of Secrets ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Meyler stated that he was down the rail throughout, was slowly away from the third last and then ran short of room when the field met the rail again. C. Stone-Walsh stated that his mount was quick away from the third last and there was not room for two horses when they met the rail again but he corrected his mount when he realised the horse on his inner was still there. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found C. Stone-Walsh was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended C. Stone-Walsh for four race days.
343E Sign Up To GavinLynchRacing.com Mdn HdlJ.W. Kennedy, rider of Whinney Hill (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung and jumped violently left throughout.
S. O'Callaghan, rider of Something Black, trained by Kieran P Egan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped carefully throughout.
343F Group Discounts On 6+ Tickets Rated HdleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kainsbourg (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Patrick T. Foley, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Fad Eadrainn, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Patrick T. Foley stated that a drop back in trip today had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
343G William Hill Challenge Series H'cap HdleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Targa Flavio, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.
S.R Markey, rider of Targa Flavio, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount sustained a cut to a leg.
Mr N. McParlan, rider of Scary Askari (GB), trained by S. McParlan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.
The Raceday Stewards wished to enquire into the running and riding of Scary Askari (GB), ridden by Mr N. McParlan and trained by S. McParlan. However as S. McParlan had failed to appoint an Authorised Representative the Raceday Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Rule 147 fined S. McParlan €130 on this occasion and referred the matter to the Referrals Committee for further investigation. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Scary Askari was found to have a bi lateral nasal discharge and to be showing signs of delayed recovery post race. Samples were taken for further analysis.
